Pemerintah Minta Pajak Film Nasional Nol Persen

 

untuk menggairahkan kembali industri film Indonesia, pemerintah meminta pajak film nasional akan menjadi nol persen. Selain itu, pajak barang yang diimpor untuk film nasional juga akan menjadi nol persen.

"Semua masih dibahas tapi untuk pajak film nasional untuk di-nol persenkan," ujar Menteri Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata ujar Menteri Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Jero Wacik.

Hal tersebut dikatakannya dalam jumpa pers tentang Kebijakan Perfilman Nasional dan Masalah Pajak Film Impor di Kementerian Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata, Jl Medan Merdeka Barat, Jakarta Pusat, Minggu (20/2/2011).

Alasan permintaan tersebut agar para produsen film nasional dapat bergairah untuk membuat film nasional.

"Termasuk pajak barang untuk film nasional saya minta di-nol persenkan," kata Jero Wacik.

Selain itu, Rabu (23/2) depan, Kemenbudpar memiliki rencana mengundang para importir film untuk mendengar masukan dari mereka.

"Apa yang bisa membuat mereka bergairah, membuka gedung bioskop lagi, dan pajaknya bagaimana?" Jelasnya.

Jero Wacik meminta agar semua pihak di dunia perfilman dapat berfikir jernih tentang permasalahan ini.

"Apapun yang kita putuskan haruslah sesuatu yang baik untuk Indonesia," terangnya.

Deddy Mizwar Dukung Kenaikan Pajak & Bea Masuk Film Impor

Aktor senior Deddy Mizwar menganggap kenaikan pajak dan bea masuk film impor sebagai hal yang wajar. Deddy pun mempertanyakan rasa nasionalisme para importir film itu.

"Saya tahu kalau importir MPA (Motion Pictures Association) itu juga orang Indonesia. Kenapa harus bermasalah dengan pajak? Kita hanya menegaskan untuk membayar pajak dengan benar, bukan menaikkan. Makanya itu saya mempertanyakan nasionalisme mereka," ujar Deddy.

Hal itu diungkapkannya saat ditemui di jumpa pers tentang Kebijakan Perfilman Nasional dan Masalah Pajak Film Impor di Kementerian Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata, Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Jakarta Pusat, Minggu (20/2/2011).

Menurut Deddy, pajak yang dikenakan untuk film Hollywood cukup ringan. Apalagi jika dibandingkan dengan pajak yang harus dibayar para pembuat film nasional.

"Mereka kalau untung Rp 23,7 miliar hanya membayar Rp 200 juta, dibandingkan produksi film Indonesia sampai Rp 5 miliar dan harus dikenai pajak 10 persen," ucapnya
